nettle studios is a small-batch clothing and sock brand for people who want getting dressed to feel fun again. their slogan is “dress for your inner kid,” which basically means they make the pieces we always wished existed in adult sizes: colorful, comfortable clothing with playful shapes, and socks that finish the outfit from head to toe. based in the san francisco bay area, they produce locally in small runs and stay very close to the entire process, from sketching new shapes and sourcing fabrics to fit testing, pattern adjustments, dye house visits, and production check-ins. whatever fabric sparks the next idea, the heart of nettle is still the same: thoughtful clothes and socks that feel special, wearable, and a little bit magical.
