"Lost in My Thoughts" is a 2024 print reproduction of an original mixed media painting by Ponnopozz (Adrianne Hawthorne) and was released with her Chromatic Layers series.
Chromatic Layers is a body of work that focuses on identity, specifically my struggle to live with and accept having ADHD.
This is the last piece I created for Chromatic Layers. I had just dropped my fiancee off at the airport and was looking at an afternoon with no plans. I headed to the studio and told myself to make something for the show but not to force it.
The red shape came first, then the blue, and soon I was immersed in my thoughts. Time flew by and I left the studio that day with one last piece - and it's my favorite of the series.
