You’re too loud. You’re too dramatic. You’re too sensitive. People have told me this my whole life, begging me to shrink and make myself smaller. For a long time, I did. Now, with paint pens and a mirrorless camera in hand, I respond, “Fuck that!” I’m Chloe Owens, the artist behind Chloe The Creative. I’m a loud, dramatic, wine-drinking, potty-mouthed creative on a mission to break out of the box the world put me in and to help others do the same. With my paintbrush and pens, I make bold, colorful abstract pieces inspired by expressionism and geometric abstraction. With my mirrorless camera, I capture people in their greatest, truest forms. So come on this journey with me. Let’s bring joy to your life and others—and do it while being unapologetically us.
