Ophelia Art Print

Meet Ophelia! She has an interesting journey. She's the first piece I created in my Evanston art studio and she started out completely flat with little to no texture. Her color palette was warm and inspired by the 1970's so there were no blues.

Randomly, I added an area of bright blue and suddenly, the piece took on a new life. I added globs of paint and used a thickener to add texture. You can see the brush strokes and texture in the print! While Ophelia didn't start out the way I expected, she ended up better than I could have imagined.
