Just under 5 inches Designed in Austin, Texas and responsibly made in China, the Bat City Barrette is hand spliced together from plant-based cellulose acetate. Due to the nature of the materials and process, each piece is unique and small variations will occur.

Hey Ricochet is a line of extremely cute and super functional hair accessories from two friends in Austin, Texas. Why Hair Clips? The short answer - we love them, and think they’re really fun. The long answer? Hey Ricochet is the brainchild of Andrea Stein and Cayce Matteoli, an author-illustrator duo known for their whimsical, magical children’s books. As busy moms and small business owners, we’re constantly reaching for hair clips and claws to keep our hair up and away from tiny hands without damaging it. When one of us brought up the idea of designing our own line, it was immediate explosion of ideas bouncing off each other—a ricochet, if you will.
